The grass and wild flowers growing on the roof of this cottage
is in the Norwegian style and lends a really charming aspect
to the cottage and it’s peaceful location.
This cottage is a few kilometres from the delightful village
of St Agathe des Monts. The owner, Margaret, is a delightful
and energetic Norwegian lady with a wealth of knowledge of
the area and the history of the cottage.

Her attention to detail is apparent in the
attractively furnished and decorated lounge and dining area.
Highly recommended, this is really beautiful in summer and
superbly warm and comfortable in fall and winter with the
log burning fire to keep you cosy.
A 4WD vehicle is recommended if travelling here in the winter
months.
Although the owner lives next door, there is lots of privacy
in the terrace and gardens which are beautiful. The walk to
the lake is quite steep, but once there, it really is worth
it. The waterfront deck is shared by guests from The Woodpecker
Cottage.
